Donating Stock or Other Items of Value:
You may transfer stock to us through your broker (contact us or your broker to find out how) or by sending us stock certificates.
Gifts of stock are deductible at their current market value, making it much more advantageous to you, from a tax standpoint, to donate stock (assuming it has gone up in value since you bought it). For donating other items of value, please contact our office in order to find the best way of arranging such a transaction.
