Anika Page is the Director of Operations for the Mississippi Center for Public Policy. In this role, Anika manages the office and assists the CEO in the day-to-day duties, including development administration, new employee orientation, and more. Previously, Anika worked in banking, and these skills she obtained in her previous career have tremendously strengthened the organization's accounting and financial systems.
Anika’s passion for individual freedoms and the free market makes her a valuable asset to our team. She has a strong interest in pro-life issues, education reform and religious freedoms.
In her role at MCPP, she has implemented several systems and programs that help the organization run efficiently. She has created a high-profile speaker series, where keynotes such as Betsy DeVos, Riley Gaines and Douglas Murray visited Mississippi. Starting from scratch, she developed the Mississippi Leadership Academy, a program where college students across the state attended monthly sessions, met professionals in the conservative movement and learned the value of conservative policy.
She was born and raised in Alaska but moved to the great state of Mississippi shortly after Hurricane Katrina. She lives in Brandon with her husband, Kelly, and two young children, Swayzie and Rhett. In her spare time, Anika runs a small business called "the Forgetful Magnolias," where she makes and sells hand-made home decor and vintage hand-embroidered items.
