Usually in these commentaries, I tell you about ideas or perspectives dealing with public policy. Recently, I've been talking about ideas for rebuilding Mississippi after the hurricane. But this week, I want to tell you who we are.
The Mississippi Center for Public Policy is an independent, non-profit organization that promotes the concepts of limited government, free enterprise, and strong traditional families. We are funded entirely by tax-deductible contributions from people who agree with those principles.
Some people think we are a government agency. Not only are we NOT a government agency, we have a policy of not accepting any government funds. In contrast to other non-profit groups who lobby for government programs and get contracts from those programs, we make our stands based on principle, not on how much money we might get.
Because of that, we need your financial support to advance our mission. To find out more about us, or to contribute online, go to www.mspolicy.org. Or call us at 1-888-MS Policy.
